Alternatively, a fertiliser company representative, farm consultant or an Organics Aotearoa Smart Start Consultant can provide this service.
Methodology
Soil test samples must be taken as a representative sample of the entire property. More than one test may be required depending on the history of land use.
Testing should be done using a 75ml pasture probe. 20 - 30 augors need to be taken randomly across the property. The sample should weigh approximately 1kg. Bag the sample, name, date and refridgerate until it can be sent to the laboratory.
